Early in the boys 3200: the lead pack includes San Pasqual's Adam Van Wart, Serra's Marcus Chandler, San Marcos' Travis Laird, Granite Hills' Ryan Maynard and Ramona's Matt McInvale.
At the finish, it was Chandler winning in 9:11.36, ahead of McInvale, who ran 9:13.13. Chandler just missed winning state meet 3200 one week later, running 9:02.22, and McInvale was fourth there, in 9:05.
Granite Hills' Jason Finch was third, in 9:15.83.
