Halfway mark of girls 800: Torrey Pines' Camille Dredge and San Dieguito Academy's Jenna Timinsky have moved far ahead of the pack. Hilltop's Desiree Davila is barely visible behind Dredge.

Dredge wins it in 2:13.55, with Davila coming up for second in 2:14.50. Davila made it to finals at state meet.

Piper was third in 2:16.30, just ahead of Timinsky (2:16.52) and Steele (2:17.06).
