The 100 Meters:
Reggie Bush (Helix junior) powers to 10.86, wind-legal.
Bryce Yeaton (Ramona) and Baumar Brumfield (University City) were third and fourth, in 11.23 and 11.33.
At right, Jessica Thomas (El Camino senior) ran 12.48 to edge out Nastassja Hall (Rancho Buena Vista senior), who ran 12.60.

The 400 Meters:
Deun White (Rancho Bernardo junior) runs 48.09. It was a state-leading mark at the time.
DeSean Cunningham (University City) ran 49.84.
Chauncee Smith (University City) ran 51.14.
Shakara Lott (University City frosh) won in 59.41.
Nicole Rothert (Fallbrook) was second in 59.77.
Cassie McLean (Vista soph).

The 800 Meters:
Whitney Schmucker (La Jolla senior) ran 2:12.45 in cold and windy conditions.
Courtney Allen (Rancho Buena Vista senior) was second in 2:17.52.
Nicole Mier (San Marcos senior).
Sariah St. Laurent (El Camino soph).
Mike Ostler (El Camino) won in 1:57.96, just ahead of Artemio Mateo (Rancho Buena Vista junior), who ran 1:58.10.
Anthony Fogelstrom (Carlsbad junior).

The 1600 Meters:
Danny Lyon (Sultana) won the boys race in 4:27.33.
Brandon Zelones (Mira Mesa senior).
Kevin Bickham (El Camino).
Benny Gandolfo (El Capitan), Joe Ruiz de Chavez (Rancho Bernardo) and Jimmy Retherford (El Capitan).

Lead pack includes Sabrina St. Laurent (El Camino), Krista Romley (Torrey Pines), Rachel Farrior (Helix) and Katie Matlack (Fallbrook). Matlack won in 5:16.45.

Kristina Nugent (Valhalla) and Rachel Good (Poway).

The 3200 Meters:
Allison Hall (Rancho Bernardo senior) won in 11:12.8, ahead of Halah Barre (Mt. Carmel soph), who ran 11:23.15.

The pack included Melissa Moore (Rancho Buena Vista), Maija Rohde (Fallbrook), Bree Justus (Rancho Buena Vista) and Olga Gorobets (Helix).

Christine Burke (Patrick Henry soph).

The boys race: from left, Babey Wagnew (Helix soph), Torrey Pines runner, Sean Barrett (St. Augustine), Kip Madden (Valhalla), Abadir Barre (Mt. Carmel), Taylor Williams (Helix), and Brandon Zelones (Mira Mesa). Barre won in 9:32.21, ahead of Wagnew (9:33), Zelones (9:36), Williams (9:41), Barrett (9:44), and Madden (9:47).

The high hurdles:
Meggi Afenir (Escondido junior) won girls 100s in 15.54.

Blake Frazier (University City) won boys 110s in 14.93, with Mike Cunningham (West Hills) third in 15.12.

The 300 hurdles:
Nathan Enriquez (St. Augustine) won the boys intermediates in 39.33.
Breanna White (Rancho Bernardo soph) won the girls lows in 49.73.
Laura Maurer (Fallbrook).

The shot:
Carrie Johnson (Fallbrook) throws 39-9 to win.

Relays:
Kaitlyn Doe (Torrey Pines) led off the 4x100.
Holli Mayer (Monte Vista).
Dani Schuster (Torrey Pines soph) anchored her teams Distance Medley win in 5:18.
Claire Rethmeier (San Pasqual soph).
Lorin Scott (San Pasqual soph). The Golden Eagles, the state's Division II cross country champion, won the 4x800 and Distance Medley races, in the meet's fastest times.
Melanie Bried (Poway).
Danae Hough (Valley Center).

Alan Aradanas (Mt. Carmel) anchored his team to 10:48 win in Distance Medley, ahead of Helix's Babey Wagnew.
Gus Polito (Valley Center).
Cooper Bachman (Valley Center). The Jaguars' distance stars concentrated on relay races.
Sara Reid (Point Loma). The Pointers won their section of the 4x800 meters.
Dan Driscoll (Monte Vista), in the 4x800.
