Kit Carson Park, 3.1 miles

The Citrus League Championships were hosted at Kit Carson Park in conjunction with the Coastal Conference Championships. The races were held simultaneously and the scores were separated after the races.

This year's races displayed the most competitive and closest of races in the history of the Citrus League. For the first time ever, the boys' championship team was decided by a tie breaker. Montain Empire narrowly defeated Guajome Park Academy with their sixth runner. Third place was also decided by the sixth runner as new-comer Calvary Christian Academy-Chula Vista beat Calvary Christian School-Vista.

Kit Carson Park, 3.1 miles

The Citrus League Championships were hosted at Kit Carson Park in conjunction with the Coastal Conference Championships. The races were held simultaneously and the scores were separated after the races.

The most competitive year in Citrus League Finals' history continued with a very close race between Julian and Mountain Empire - the two oldest schools in the league. Coach Bill Porter's Julian Eagles defeated Division IV Mountain Empire, 44 to 45. First year program Calvary Christian Academy-Chula Vista got a huge boost from overall champion and Freshman Elizabeth Apgar to beat out Guajome Park Academy for third place. Look for Apgar to be near the top in the State for Division V this season.
