ENTRY DEADLINE: February 26, 2007 We would like to invite you to our 30th Annual Tiger Relays, to be held on Saturday March 10, 2007 from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. The meet will be held at Patrick Henry HS. This track and field invitational is held each year to promote girl's track and field in the San Diego area. We encourage total participation from each of your athletes, to compete against each other and other schools, to meet new friends, and to have fun. This mailing is being sent to those schools who have participated in the past or have expressed an interest in this year's meet. Again this year we will award beautiful embossed medals for all running events(except "B" events). Medals will be given to the first three places in each division. In the distance medley and 2-mile relay, the four divisions will be combined into two races, but the medals will be given to the first three places in each division. In the 3200m run 13:00 and faster (Note Use a 2 mile time.) we will award six(6) places and in the 3200m 13:00 and slower, three(3) places. In the field events, medals for the first three teams in each division will be awarded. Placement in field events will be based on the cumulative efforts of the 3 members from each school. We will NOT do Shuttle Hurdles. Instead we will run 3 races of 10 in EACH DIVISION. This allows every school at least 3 Hurdle spots, with a possible 4th[max] depending on the number of hurdlers from the other schools in the Division. Top 3 Individuals in each race will earn medals. AGAIN This year we will conduct an Invitational Pole Vault. We will take the top 20 Vaulters(Max 3 per School). Use the Entry Form to enter your vaulter(s). Please be HONEST with the entry Marks (They will be checked against 2006 Results). Medals to Top 6. We will limit this relay to 36 teams, split into four divisions
based on school attendance and strength of program. The entry
fee is $150.00 per team. To enter, just return the Entry
Contract with proper signatures and information (Payment may follow.)
