Andria Booker, El Camino
The outstanding girl athlete at this year's section finals, she long jumps 19-0.5 to win the section large school long jump, taking only one attempt. She later returned to win the triple jump in 40-10, the 100 hurdles in 14.84 and helped the Wildcats to a 48.78 third-place finish in the 4x100 relay. Her bests for the year were 19-6.5 (in State trials; she was third in finals); 40-11.4 (she won the State title for the second time); and 14.49 in the hurdles (in Masters meet, where she set a section meet record).
